this tools doesn't work in Windows2000 environments as I understand it....we only have 2k customers with Notes. I've tried the registry settings but still somewhere deep into the system it doesn't accept the fact the network is bigger than one server..... The fact I most wondered about is that no one on this list seems to have notes running in the setup some of us do. Are all of you running Ms clients or not using mail functionality from MS applications with notes? ....(only those who do have notes running respond please). ******************************** Met vriendelijke groeten, Rob Beekmans Technical consultant A-Tree Automatisering "The Thin Client specialist" http://www.a-tree.nl <http://www.a-tree.nl/> ******************************** -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Jim Kenzig http://thethin.net [mailto:jimkenz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Verzonden: Friday, July 12, 2002 2:09 PM Aan: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Onderwerp: [THIN] Re: SV: Lotus Notes R5 and MS office XP Should be able to do that with the compatility bits utility. http://thethin.net/compatibility.zip Check out Rick Macks paper on tuning these settings also at: http://thethin.net/whitepapers/MICROSOFT/Application_Compatibility_Setti ngs.doc (link may wrap, get it all) Regards, Jim Kenzig http://thethin.net -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Rob Beekmans Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 6:03 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: SV: Lotus Notes R5 and MS office XP Jim, Thought about that one....but the notes.ini is hunting me.... I can get the mail service functionality working, which means Lotus notes is selectable as mail service. When I select the service it searches for a notes.ini locally on the server. I can't seem to tell the system where to look for the notes.ini. grx Rob
