We are running NT4 Tse, should Delprof work for it as well?

Jason,

That user's profile may be stuck in the registry on that server.
You can clear it out by rebooting or possibly using the delprof.exe resource
kit utility.
When you are set to delete locally cached copies, stuck profiles often show
up in C:\Docs and Settings and can't be deleted because they are in use.
That's how I usually identify them.

HTH,

Raff

Subject: [THIN] Roaming Profile Question

Ok, I am just full of... questions today.

I have a user that uses a roaming profile for ADP timsaver, there is a file
in the Windows Directory of the Profile called TSWIN.ini. This file
contains certain paths that need to be saved and available across all our
servers. If the users profile does not load correctly, a default TSwin.ini
file is created, but it does not have the user specific paths stored in it.

This user's profile is Loading EXCEPT for this one file, and this is only
happening on ONE server (we have 3 that serve this app), and only for this
user currently. I cannot figure out what is happening. We are set to
delete locally cached copies of roaming profles on the servers.

Any idea why this one file will not go with the profle? Also whenthe user
logs out this one file is NOT overwriting the stored one in the Home
directory, where normallyif there is a problem with roaming proflles and the
Default ini file is created then the home directory file DOES get
overwritten when theylog out. Its almost as if in this instance the file is
not being seen by windows or by the program, not sure which.

Jason
