What about permissions on the registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing?
Users should have Full Control to this
key.

I used sysprep at a client to deploy Windows XP and it reset the permission on
this key. We included changing the
permissions on the key as part of our post-imaging process.

Downgrade the ICA Client? XP is a newly installed in our environment so the
client was installed fresh. I will try to
uninstall and reinstall in this manner and see if it resolves the issue.

But what I really would like is to know why this happens to prevent this from
occurring again. We are in the middle of
XP rollout and do not want to have to do this manually for any PCs that have
problems. It will not look good to the
clients and cause a large effort to solve.

Thanks for the input.

For some reason we had this problem. We tried to reinstall the OS and the
Citrix client. The only thing that worked
was to downgrade the Citrix client and log in as Administrator then log on as
the user. Then we upgraded the client
back to the version it was running and log in as Administrator then log on as
the user. We had to do this on a bunch of
PC's.

Hope this helps

Here is the issue we are currently experiencing.

When an Admin account run the ICA client it functions properly. If We try to
connect to a published application as a
user however it never connects. We get as far as opening up the client and
getting all published application available.
But when we run any of them, we get messages that "Network or dialup problems
are preventing connection with the Citrix
server".

OS: Windows XP

Client: ICA 6.31.1051

Citrix: XP FR2

Server OS: Windows 2000 SP3

We have tried FileMon and Regmon and did not find anything solid using those
tools.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
