Sure do a chfarm to a valid farm then do you sysprep et al. Should work ok, but as always test her out. Then it will point to the right database when the IMA is started back up. I'll still need one image per farm, but I can use an image from farm A to create the images for farm B. Generally the file is edited when changing the server to point to a replica of the existing database. IF you have a new farm (different database) you need to use CHFARM.EXE to move the server from one farm to another so it properly creates all the entries in the DB for the server. Or do I need to create a new image for each farm I have? Thanks! Jennifer Henske A.G.
