And the spooler service starts up with no errors? Any event ID's?
I've had a printer (shared off a win2k server) go haywire on a print and
get 'stuck' so to speak. Config of that printer was completely
inaccessible, but it would show it had a print job in the que.=20
I ended up purging the printer manually from the server's registry to
clear things up. If you need to go there, I recommend you backup the reg
key first, then stop the spooler, remove the registry entries and
restart the spooler.=20

Have you tried stopping the spooler, killing all the spool files in
winnt\system32\spool\printers
Then restart the service

I go to START - SETTINGS - PRINTERS and then the printer window comes
up.
Then it locks up. If I put cursor over printer window i just get an hour
glass but I can do other things on the server. has anyone seen this
before?
