Checked that... Wasn't there so I added it. Funny - all of the other three
servers had that. Rebooted... Client still sees the server drives..

Any other suggestions?

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\DeleteRoamingCache (it's of type REG_DWORD),
value of 1 does the trick.

Obviously can be set by policy - but for sure, you can check the above
value.

Mandatory profiles stored at the same share as the policies. As for the
caching... I'm not sure... Where can I check that - is that located in the
policy as well? I don't remember seeing it...

What sort of profiles? And do you turn of persistent caching of roaming
profiles?

I just rebuilt an NT4.0 TSE SP6 with CMF 1.8. Everything on the server
appears to be working well except for one thing. I can't get the policies
to run correctly. This server is one of four in the farm and the others are
using the same policy without issue. I went to HKLM\System\Current Control
Set\Control\Update and ensured it pointed to the proper share. (All four
severs are pointing to the same share)

I also ensured the update mode was set correctly to 2.

How is it the other 3 servers can see the policy properly and ensure it's
processing, but the last cannot? I know it's getting some of the features
because I can see that the users cannot modify the Internet settings;
however they are able to see each of the server drives (M, N).

Is it me...

Thanks,
Rick
