OK so give users full access. But then what about the system permissions. When we were setting up a test user and filled in the Terminal Server Home drive (Using Flex Doc version 3 it is called the T drive) we clicked apply we got an error that the directory could not be created. Do we give CREATOR full control and SYSTEM full control? Well if you are doing folder redirection then the user will need to OWN the folder being redirected to. I have heard there are some ways around that but haven't seen them implemented successfully. Generally I let the users have full control of the contents of their home dir or everything but full control. Sometimes we will also great a subdir that is attrib'd hidden and dump all the redirected folders in there. It all depends. Hello all, We are setting up a lab here and have hit a speed bump. We need to know the permissions to set on a fileshare for Windows 2003 for redirected home drives. We do not know what permissions are required for the system to auto create the share when editing a users Terminal Server properties. Also what to add so that the user is able to access the share.
