We are looking at set up issues, and probably looking to upgrade the NFuse
version (not sure which version, but probably an ancient 1.0). We have
recently added passprop to the NT domain, which should have no effect on the
pass through/validation to the Nfuse/Unix box, but this will cause a large
number of users to have the same problem.
FWIW, the characters that are given us trouble are the ampersand, plus,
single or double quotes, semi-colon, number sign and colon. I'm not
convinced that is all encompassing; one user has reported that they have
used some of these in the past with no problems, and one user had problems
with the number sign last week that we cannot duplicate this week.

The only thing I recall is that early on NFuse wouldn't accept passwords
greater than 15 characters. But that was fixed I believe.....=20
But that having been a problem it does not surprise me. If you could
narrow it down to a certain characters (or set of) I would put in a call
for a bug report and see if you can get a fix. Or tell the list some of
the characters and we can try them out and tell you if it your setup or
really a bug.

Issue is specifically with NFuse sometimes not accepting special
characters
in the passwords. Has anybody come across this before?

If they are all in the same domain and you are having issues with apps
only on one farm and the other farm works fine you may need to check
NFUSE config=20

Does this only occur when the user tries to run an app from a different
farm?
Is that other farm in the same domain or a different domain that you
have a trust relation ship with?

Application that the one person is able to run is on one farm (and
different serve), with the other application part of a different farm.
Applications in both cases run on multiple servers. =20

Are all of the apps that the users trying to access on the same server
and they get the error launcing the second app or are they on different
servers?

All users have NT 4 boxes that they logged into. After changing their
NT password, they are getting the credential message when trying to get
into NFuse. We have asked them to clear the IE cache and cookies....is
there anything else we need to clear?

How are your using logging into their computers/terminals? You could be

Some users, after changing their password, are not able to get
authenticated via the Nfuse interface; they can usually get in through
program neighborhood. Users keep attempting to refresh and retry, and
they usually can get back in... I have one user who can access a
particular application in the Citrix Program Neighborhood, but is
getting the "Citrix Server reported that the Credentials were incorrect"
when trying to access another application via the NFuse interface. =20
