Page Faults occur whenever the Operating System or an application needs code / data that isn't already in physical memory. Page Faults don't necessarily mean usage of the Pagefile, nor do they necessarily indicate leaky apps. You can't run any application without the O/S first Page Fault'ing it into memory. It could be that your users are just opening/closing their applications lots. :) ...Chris -----Original Message----- From: Jim Kenzig [mailto:jimkenz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, 20 May 2003 12:45 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Page Faults Poorly written crappy applications that leak memory. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Schneider, Chad M. Odd thing is, I am not sure why, as it should not even be paging, as my memory is only @ 1/3 in use. 3GIG ram, only 1GIG in use.
