Thank you,

I set a local group policy to disable the screen saver.
I then set a domain group policy enabling the screen saver.
Because the domain overrides the local policy, when I log in as
Domain\User the computer will still lock its self up should I forget to
log off if I walk away and there will be no screen saver for the anon
users because the are local.

I did run into an issue where the user configuration part of the domain
Citrix Group policy was not applying to the machine. After some reading
I found out that I had to enable the User Group Policy Loopback policy
and set it to merge for it to look at the user side of the Citrix Group
policy.

Thank you for your help,
Keith

I assume you mean from within an ICA session

You can set a group policy....

Something like

Admin templates/control/display/screen saver timeout

All the other screen saver stuff is there too....

One other thing to think off is if it's an anonymous user I would guess
you
need to do this locally on the server using gpedit.msc not from the
domain.
You made need to set the policy differently for domain users so it does
not
affect them

Subject: [THIN] PS4 on Windows 2003

Howdy,

I just installed PS4 on a new server (2003 SP1 W/O .NET 2.0) and added
it to
the farm.

This is the first 2K3 server and the first PS4 in our farm.

I have one minor issue that I figure Thin List could solve in about 30
seconds.

I need to stop the windows server from locking the session.

If a user walks away from the app for too long, when they get back they
see
the ctr-alt-delete screen asking them to unlock the computer.

This app is published via anonymous user.

Is there a group policy that I need to enforce on the server or is
there a
Citrix setting I need to alter?

Thank you,
Keith
