As a possible solution to a "political" situation in my workplace I'm = looking into the possibility of using a dumbed down PC in a = predominantly thin-client Win2000/Citrix environment. I need the PC so = that I can connect a PocketPC (USB cradle) to the PC and perform = activesync with the users Outlook. I plan on having the user working = primarily through a published desktop in the Citrix environment, and not = having any applications on the PC itself where I can help it. I know I = could just install the basic OS and Outlook on the PC along with the ICA = client and achieve the functionality I'm looking for, but I'm hoping for = something more streamlined so the user has more of a "single-sign-on, = works like magic in the background" experience. I remember seeing = several packages for stripped down ICA clients using PC's.. but I = haven't played with any of them and don't know if they are what I'm = looking for. Anyone have configuration/application advise to offer? Thanks, David ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online.
