[THIN] OT: free/open source help desk software

I know there was a discussion in the past about help desk software and
there were some recommendations that came up for free/open source
products. Tried to track them down in the list archives but am not
having any luck.
I've just had a look at Spiceworks and it's just too basic. I'm not
expecting the get the world for free, but I was wondering if there is
anything out there in free/open source that is a little more robust that
list members may have used?
