I found that with scripting NT Backup you could produce reasonably detailed
logs that made it easy to see if the backup was successful or not.  These
logs could be automatically printed of e-mailed to whoever ....

I was thinking about that one too, although even though you may have a small
shop. And NT backup could work (like for exchange backup the datastores
locally, copy them off etc for a central Tape to job). Not as intuitive with
error checking and a simple interface that shows if all of the job was
successful or not. 

Small clients want to see that "Yeah it worked" or Nope, its screwed again,
call the tech" Type of interface.

small shops can use ntbackup just fine.  You just have to go through
some work to script it .  Nothing you can't handle Ron.

I have a couple lying around I can send you if you want to take a look.
