ntbackup writes a log that is pretty easy to check and it writes an
entry in the event log which a small shop should be in the habit of
checking anyway.  if you install the exchange tools on the same box,
there is an exchange agent that loads up.

ntbackup is backup exec lite anyway.  We ran for several years with it
at my last job and it was great.
