Hi,

The answer is yes.

However there are some caveats.

The packaging system basically has ideally mirror a full production
system. The earliest version of the Oracle client has to be
installed/packaged first and left installed for the next one etc. There
are some significant dependencies and if you package an Oracle client
just on it's own when using more than one version of the client, it just
won't work.

Obviously you'll want to group the clients in an installation folder and
set the installation order within that folder.

As a general note, the idea of doing all your packaging on a "bare" O.S.
just doesn't work very well. It's far better to package on to a system
that is as close as possible to your standard production image.

Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone is using FR3 Installation Manager to package
Oracle 6i forms or the 8.1.7 client at all.

Any takers ?
