Thanks Jeff,

I would be interested on more of a developers side of thing to see how
you did it.

I normally avoid using VBS scripts for login scripts and try to
discourage my clients from using VBS scripting and disable the VBS
engines for security reasons.

I like using either Kix or a fully compiled VB app for this to preserve
security and also IP.

Call me paranoid, but hey Im a security nut!!!

Hi Tony,

I can show you how to do it in VBScript if you're interested in doing
it that way. I've done it that way for years during login for many
customers. Works like a charm.

Not sure if this is a bug with Kix or not.

Im trying to setup a Kix script to create or delete printers
upon login based on group memberships.

Im finding that using th addprinterconnection function is really
unreliable where the kix engine will hang randomly when trying to
connect to a printer.

Having more success by executing the Setdefaultprinter function
straight after each printer, script execution will work for longer but
will still lock up the kix engine if I map more than 3-4 printers.

Anyone got any ideas on why this would occur?

Tried Kix 4.2 and 4.22 same problems.
