The locking up is something I've never seen before..... might be the version you're using, I'm still on the 4.01 version. Im trying to setup a Kix script to create or delete printers upon login based on group memberships. Im finding that using th addprinterconnection function is really unreliable where the kix engine will hang randomly when trying to connect to a printer. Having more success by executing the Setdefaultprinter function straight after each printer, script execution will work for longer but will still lock up the kix engine if I map more than 3-4 printers. Anyone got any ideas on why this would occur? Tried Kix 4.2 and 4.22 same problems.
