Hi Jeremy,

thanks for the reply, but I found what I needed to get the new version
of Acrobat. A tech note stating that there was a known issue in v7 and
it was fixed in v8.1 so we can get a new version and make my life
slightly easier.

thanks

What exactly fails? ie What error message do you get? Does it work as
the local Administrator? Does anything get logged in the Event Logs?

Not sure about Vista, but under Windows 2008 R1 (similar to Vista) and
R2 (similar to Win 7) you need to disable UAC. I also found this:

blem.html.

If all else fails, try tracking the problem with ProcessMonitor.

Bullzip has been mentioned a lot on forums in recent times, so must try
it one of these days. CutePDF has always been reliable for me.

Cheers,

Jeremy.

I use a product called Bullzip to print PDFs. It is free for individuals
and works very well. I never tried Adobe's printer in Vista.

Hi,

I vaguely recall visiting this one before and getting no where, but when
a user tries to use the print to Adobe PDF printer from Vista it fails.

I think it was something to do with security on the IE settings or
something. I never got to the bottom of it.

Its becoming a bit of an issue now.

Has anyone seen this before, or indeed has it working ?

thanks

Ronnie
