I tried that. IE6 wouldn't install either. Then I tried installing
IE5.0
SP2 and it said the same thing but when I hit OK the screen went blank,
a
little window came up that said something about VM setting up, then
desktop
came back. i tried running the 5.5 setup again and it worked. but then
i
rebooted and it wouldn't come back up. Had a message about a missing or
corrupt something.nls file. Boot from the CD and do a repair. I am
trying
that now. Something says it won't work though.

Just install IE 6...it upgrades IE 5.5 and goes on without flaw

I am trying to reinstall IE 5.5 on a citrix xp server with nt 4. When I
run
it it tells me that a previous installation did not complete. A reboot
is
needed, etc. etc. I reboot and try again and it tells me same thing.
