Prevent them from relaying. That way they will be able to send to your users but noone else. You can do this by IP. -----Original Message----- From: Pavlo Ignatusha [mailto:pignatusha@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 18 May 2005 15:57 To: Org Thin (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] OT: Exchange 2003 question. Hi group, Sorry for the off-topic post but I've been searching for a while for the solution and did not find any. I have a task to restrict certain IP-based scan-to-email devices to send messages outside our organization. These devices are Panasonic DP multifunction devices (copier/scanner, etc). They can do SMTP to our exchange 2003 and they hold address book. There is no way to block users from entering email address outside of organization into the device and get the scanned documment sent outside. I would like to restrict these devices from being able to send mail outside of our Exchange organization (or particular email domain). I only want themto send the documents to themselves or another recipient within my E3K org. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks.
