Yeah, Legato and Bridgehead are the only vendors that you can run serverless
backups with some of the main HIS applications like Meditech if you have a
SAN.

We use a product called Legato (www.legato.com)
This is a very common vendor in the HealthCare area.
We have been very satisfied with the product and support over the years.

We use Veritas NetBackup Datacentre. Some problems with backing up Novell /
MS, plus Veritas support are not very good. More a product for Unix,
although we are upgrading so a promise has been made that things will
improve!

Looking for some feedback on what backup software everyone is using and
your satisfaction with it.
Also, if anyone knows of any backup sites or surveys that compare say,
Veritas NetBackup \ Backup Exec to Computer Associates Arcback to HP's
Dataprotector and others that would be GREAT!
I've had the opportunity to use 3 of the 4 software suites above but
I'll reserve any comment until I hear from you all ;)
