We have a flock of Imagerunner 550's and 210's. They are fine and capable copiers but they are disastrous network printers. Over the 5 year lease we have fought numerous driver issues, compatability with our Terminal Servers, and Macintosh printing. We are finally replacing these units and they most definately will not be replaced with more Canons. I also found Netspot to be a dismal network management tool for a large number of printers. _____ From: Greg Reese [mailto:gareese@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 06, 2005 4:37 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: OT: Anyone have a preference for non-Xerox copier solutions? Canon ImageRunners. We used them at my last job and they were great! Rumor has it there are some at the warehouse from JI. Anyway, we're evaluating whether or not to stay with the extremely expensive Xerox solution for our photo copier needs, and am wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with non-Xerox equipment that they'd care to share. We run the gamut from little desktop models, to a somewhat mammothly large 130ppm machine. TIA
