We use Canon Imagerunner's as well and they work great. 3300, 3320 and 2200..
as well as a 2050 colour unit.

We have some Ricoh copiers rolled out with a customer. Nice machines, but some
users find the touch screen confusing. We also had some minor issues with
fonts and PDF files, and had to play around with drivers and driver settings to
resolve. Be sure to get advice from Ricoh on which driver to use as the wrong
one can cause chaos.

Interestingly I had an issue this morning with a user printing a 25 page
document to a Ricoh colour copier which blew up into a 1.2 Gb spool file and
almost crashed the print server. Have now moved the spool folder off the
system partition, something we should have done ages ago.

Now the driver issues are sorted, they are working well.

I've used a few Canon ImageRunner's in the past, never had any issues. NEver
used them in a terminal environment.

My company uses Savin's exclusively, which is the same as Ricoh and Lanier.
The machines are nice, they seem to not break down, have featureful drivers. I
have yet to use them in terminal environment, but the time will be coming
rather quickly.

Sorry for the off topic post, I'm just in the habit of asking general knowledge
questions of people with a lot of general knowledge.

Anyway, we're evaluating whether or not to stay with the extremely expensive
Xerox solution for our photo copier needs, and am wondering if anyone has any
good or bad experiences with non-Xerox equipment that they'd care to share. We
run the gamut from little desktop models, to a somewhat mammothly large 130ppm
machine.

TIA
