Ohh you are correct Malcolm, if using pass-thru it will simply prompt with just the [OK] button. One thing I did here was create a "message board" program (in VB) that displays an external HTML page... Then at the bottom, there is a continue button... When you press continue it shells to your target program. Im sure you guys could create something similar but with an "Exit" button. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BRUTON, Malcolm, FM Sent: Wednesday, May 18, 2005 4:23 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Legal logon notice This is the same as setting the policy in AD as I explained below. My point is this is supposed to happen before you logon. If you connect via RDP it displays message before you logon. If you connect via PN and an ICA published app you have already entered your credentials when it enumerates your apps and before you enter your credentials it doesn't show the logon message. It then displays the message after you run the app and you don't have to enter your credentials again. In other words if you disagree with the message and you click OK it takes you into the app anyway. Where as on an XP machine or via RDP if you disagree with the message don't log on. My guess is the WI interface is the way to go with a popup that use must click OK before they enter their credentials. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system "legalnoticecaption"="Warning: This is a monitored system" "legalnoticetext"="This system is for authorized personnel only. If you don't agree... Blah..." -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jeff Pitsch Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2005 11:14 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Legal logon notice My suggestion would be to switch over to Web Interface, then you could do it. Other than that, it's possible there's a hack out there somewhere. Or set at the server that the user must be prompted for password. I believe that would shut off the auto logon to the applications..
