Luckily for me I told the VP of Ops in writing that I didn't want to load XP a year ago (it was too new). So when users complain I send them to him. An IT person called me yesterday to tell me that all of a sudden his reminders were working, and popped up 20 some odd reminders, several that were a month old. Gotta love it. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brian Politis Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2002 1:57 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Late Reminders in OutlookXP We are still having problems with Late Reminders in outlookXP. Has anyone solved this problem? Or know whether SP2 will help. We currently have Outlook configured to run with the /cleanreminders switch once a week (every Monday it launches from the login script). Interestingly, the first Monday we did this our Exchange Data Store service stopped after about 2 hours. It restarted fine, and we haven't had a problem since. Does anyone know what /cleanreminders does? The KB articles I've read all state it does something on the exchange server and should only be run occassionally. The don't say what it does or what "occassionally" means. Is once a week enough? =================================== This weeks Sponsor: ThinPrint - High resolution, DRIVER FREE PRINTING with no loss of quality in color. - Removes print spooling and rendering tasks from your terminal server. http://www.thinprint.com =================================== For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm =================================== This weeks Sponsor: ThinPrint - High resolution, DRIVER FREE PRINTING with no loss of quality in color. - Removes print spooling and rendering tasks from your terminal server. http://www.thinprint.com =================================== For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
