Well...I've always considered it to be a best practice thing...as it saves
memory. None of the deployments I have done thus far need the alternate
user input stuff, or the language bar, as they are all English(Australian)
only. My issue was that my script had an error in it, so it was bombing out
before unregistering the dll's. I stared at it for ages yesterday and could
not see the error. I was chasing my tail because I didn't realise the
impact of not unregistering the dll's would have. ie. It recreates the
ctfmon process. Doh.

Cheers.

Just out of interest ...what is the problem with having cftmon running. I
have it running for every users login. Ctrix PS3.0 W2k3. Should I be
concerned...by disabling it, will I get improved performance?

Subject: [THIN] Killing off CTFMON

Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck killing off CTFMON? Everytime I think I've done it,
it seems to come back, and it's driving me nuts :( Clearly I'm missing an
important step in the process, but I think I've been so focused on it that
I'm going around in circles.

Cheers.
