Could not get value names for key SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Citrix ICA \Performance. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.? The following error messages may also appear in the event log: Event Id: 10005 Source: MsiInstaller Description: ?Product: Citrix MetaFrame XP Server for Windows with Feature Release 3 ? Error 1407. Could not get value names for key SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Citrix ICA\Performance. System error 234. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.? And/Or Event Id: 11407 Source: MsiInstaller Description: ?Product: Citrix MetaFrame XP Server for Windows with Feature Release 3 ? Error 1407. Could not get value names for key SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Citrix ICA\Performance. System error 234. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.? Cause The above key cannot be read. Use Regedt32.exe to navigate to the registry key above; no entries are in this performance key. Use regedit.exe to navigate to the same location on another server. You will see several values in it like Close, Collect, First Counter, and so on. Resolution Create a backup and restore the key from a working server or manually recreate the corrupted key. After the key is restored or recreated, restart the installation of Service Pack 3/Feature Release 3. Additional Information Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Note: Prior to deleting the registry key, document the values of the following entries: First Counter, Last Counter, First Help, Last Help. Navigate to to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Citrix ICA\ Add Performance to the end of the string.
