I built a new Citrix PS4.0/Windows 2003 server over the weekend. I was testing a performance tweak to put the user profiles on a seperate physical disk vs. the same disk as the apps and OS. I changed the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\ProfileList\ProfilesDirectory from the default of %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings to Z:\Documents and Settings (Z: being the seperate physical disk with nothing else on it, but the swapfile). From the old profile root I copied Citrix_Sma, Default User, All Users into the new profile root. This worked (or so I thought). When I tested a login the users roaming profile created in the correct area. When I rebooted the server however, the IMA service refused to start with error code -2147483647. I found this KB article http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX101949 which confirms this change caused the issue, but I am wondering how I could make IMA work with the new profile location. ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin NEW!
