I have already monitored the ICA Browser with a sniffer.=20
* When using the TCP/IP comunication:
The client will do three broadcast on the lan to find the servers, if not =
founded, he will try to locate the server by the list on the Server =
Location list.
* If you use the TCP/IP + HTTP comunication:
The client will try to resolve the name ICA to find the server. If you add =
an IP address on the Server Location, it will go direct to the server, by =
default on port 80, but you need to point to the XML port.

Hi,
Is ICA browsing mandatory to achieve remote access=20
functionality. If so i was wondering for what reasons. I would like to =
know for both TCP/IP case and TCP/IP + HTTP (using XML on port 80 for =
browsing) cases. Because an ICA client can directly connect to MetaFrame =
server just by entering server IP address. Any help is greatly appreciated.=

thanks,
bob
