Now I tried several solutions including the alcatraz solution. WE didn't want to
wrestle with a new server,  PC OS, licensing, hardware etc.
and the costs of some of these solutions weren't worth the benefit. The
Thinstation uses linux and is very easy to setup. Thinstation doens't rely on
disk access (though you can set it up to use them). There is a small learning
curve if you don't know linux. (they have prebuilt version which doesn't require
any linux boxes)
