[THIN] HP LaserJet 2300

I see quite a few posts in the archives regarding the LaserJet 2300 but
none of them are helping with a problem I am having. I have a three
server farm, MF XP Fr2, on Win2k SP3.
I recently added an HP LaserJet 2300 as a local printer for one user.
The user logs onto a load balanced desktop logon. Occasionally the
printer stops mapping. Once it stops it does not come back until I
remove the drivers from the server and reinstall. I tried PCL 5 and 6
and PS drivers, same result.
Mapping to a LaserJet 4 works great but this printer has an additional
paper tray that the user needs to chose from.
Anyone have any suggestions.
