I actually have a very weird situation in which I currently have an open case with Citrix on...Here is the scenario: I browse to my Web Interface 3 site by manually entering https://citrix.XXX.org - at this point client detection works as expected (I do have the client and am not prompted to install)....At this point I mark the resultant page as a favorite in IE6 (favorite path is https://citrix.XXX.org/Citrix/MetaFrame/default/default.aspx) .....I then exit IE and close all other sessions of IE....I then reopen IE and use the favorite created above...I am now told that I do not have the client and need to install it....To cut to the chase I am only told to install the client if I use the favorite...What makes it even weirder is if I create a web shortcut to the same place the favorite points it works fine....The only scenario this breaks (telling me I need the client) is if I actually browse to the WI page and mark it as a favorite....Very strange and thankfully Citrix support can duplicate.... Anyone seen this? ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor Emergent Online ThinCity Conference Join us at ThinCity 2004: The 1st Annual Emergent OnLine Technology Conference http://www.ThinCity.com ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm
