[THIN] Desktop Icons slow to refresh during logon

Hi All
Windows 2K SP2 with MF1.8.
When users logon to the server to retrieve published desktops, it can =
take anything upto a minute or so before all the icons are refreshed.
The apps that the icons point to are not on network drives - They are =
all installed on an apps partition on the server.
Driving us mad!!!!!
Any ideas?
