We use a scripted build.  When a server is built it modifies the default
user profile so it is always consistent across all servers.  We just nuke a
few files from it and modify a few registry keys etc.  Nice and simple and
always consistent across all servers.

How are all you replicating your default user profile.

 

We have a tonne of servers and want to automate it.

 

Our concerns are NTFS rights and registry rights.

 

There is a hidden default user profile folder (w2k3).

 

We can just copy it over top of it but we are wondering if that will mess up
the rights?

 

Can do an import from in properties of the computer (manage users profiles)
because if we copy the new on into the documents and setting directory it
does not show up.

 

Any suggestions welcome.
