Also, make sure if these are autocreated printers that the user does not
have power user
or admin privileges. If they have power user or admin privileges then they
will see other
users autocreated printers.

One way to prevent them from printing confidential data to the wrong printer
is by restricting printers based on security groups. Create a group whose
name reflects the printer. Then configure the printer so that only that
group (and administrators) are allowed to print to it.
