yes, pnagent is the way to deliver icons right into the user's start
menu.

You lost me after that.

the pnagent icons launch published XenApp resources from the Citrix
server.

if you just want to deliver shortcuts that launch apps form the user's
local pc, you can do that by publishing content, just make that content
a .lnk file. The location would then need to match on every client.

        Hi ,

silly question my heads melting after a week wrestling with a
Toshiba laptop and outlook 2007....turns out its the Toshiba build with
all the junk installed. works a treat with a fresh install of Vista and
Outlook 2007.

        anyway

I have been running Metaframe here for quite some time and have
always controlled access to any icons a user needs by copying them using
a login script and when I moved users to Vista I have been doing this
using preferences.

Not that I need to implement XenApp and users need to be able to
log into the old farm and not get there profile messed up. I had done
some work on this quite a while ago but then the project was shelved in
favour of Vista now were back round again.

I am correct in saying that I keep nothing in the all users and
allow the Web interface to populate the desktop ? I would then need a
PNAgent site set up to control this.

Does this then only create a shortcut to the exe you choose when
you publish the application.

I know I may have issues with users connecting to both farms but
I want to know if I'm on the right direction

        thanks
