Actually, it had to do with the pagefile that was created. If you
started WINDIAG, and click on the MEMORY tab, you should find a weird
pagefile value. Change this value, reboot and you will be able to
install IE, and have it work properly. This is what I have run into
when installing the MSDN version of TSE.

Tony,

I had trouble getting IE to work properly on my IBM servers when I
first loaded NT4TSE. The fix was to remove all but 512MB of memory
from the server, install IE, test it, then put the memory back in.
This was a Microsoft documented problem, not specific to any server
brand (an NT4TSE and IE thing). One suggestion was to add a line to
the boot.ini file to tell the OS to only see 512 MB, but I didn't
find that to work reliably.

Good luck.

Guys,

Has anyone out there installed NT4TSE successfully on the Compaq
DL360G2 series servers?

I am having major problems with IE on NT4TSE on this hardware
platform being extremely unstable and Dr Watsoning all the time on a
pilot. On Win2k I have no problems.

The same build works fine on other server hardware platforms
including the older DL360's

Thanks,

Tony Lyne
