Hi Bill,

Get her to try using printcfg (start > run > printcfg.exe) to see if the
printer can be connected manually. If that fails, it's often a driver
issue (driver alias etc), if it works then you're probably looking at a
policy issue.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Client printer

Environment:

2 windows 2000 advanced servers running terminal services and MF 1.8 on
top. Users utilizing roaming profiles. I have a user who has an HP 4050
connected to her local PC. On one TS her client printer auto connects
with no problem. On the other no client printer connects. She is using
her roaming profile, the driver on the local PC has been updated. I
cannot figure out why her printer does not auto connect on the one TS.
Any thoughts other than forcing it to connect in her startup?
