I hear that is going to be called Presentation Glider......looks good but doesn't fly. Or was it Nflight 1.0 (no flight). -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Joe Shonk Sent: Saturday, November 22, 2003 12:01 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix Glider Perhaps the South Hemisphere version of Glider is not ready? I hear Citrix has made a lot of improvements to glider that will be incorporated into FR1. You'll need Sub Advantage in order to get the upgrades. I can't speak of those changes as they are all under NDA. However, I hear the Citrix engineers have been able to get the glider to do tricks (360s, barrel rolls, loop-de-loop) in the lab but the CEO doesn't want to incorporate those changes. Also, because Microsoft provided the framework for the glider, they have announced their license scheme. It will be on a per thrower bases. So 1 glider and 5 kids will require 5 thrower licenses. Citrix stated they will stick by their concurrent glider license. (1 glider, 5 kids = 1 license) Both the Microsoft and Citrix license(s) must be purchased. Microsoft will introduce a license hanger in the next release of the Glider v2.0.
