Pavlo,

I have also tried this to no avail. Why would Citrix choose to restrict
the use of groups to global only? This seems like a huge problem for
any reasonably large enterprise.

Thanks,
Aaron

As far as I remember you can only use global groups in CMC to define
access to Metaframe apps. Try publishing the application directly to
this user (not a group) and see if it works.

Subject: [THIN] Citrix + AD forest question

Here is the scenario:

I have my citrix servers in one domain (domain1) of a very large forest
(~100 trees) and I'm trying to give access to a user in another domain
(domain2). I have a group defined in the CMC for the access rights to a
specific application in which I've placed this user and the group is a
universal group. There is also a group that gives rights to login to
the citrix servers that the user is a member of and that is also a
universal group.

This user is able to log into the web interface but is not presented
with any applications afterwards. Has anyone seen this? We are running
PS 3.0 on windows 2003.

Thanks,
Aaron
