Paul, Have you looked at the connection from both sides of the firewall? If so see if there is any difference. What packet sniffer are you using? I usually use ethereal on a linux machine, you can save it and compare it. It is very easy to install RedHat 8.0 on a couple of laptops and do this, and IMHO is much better than the commercial stuff for things like this. How long are you usually connected before the CSG disconnects? -Linn -----Original Message----- From: Stansel, Paul [mailto:Paul.Stansel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 8:37 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx'; 'citrixse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Checkpoint firewalls and CSG Ok... in continuing to narrow down my CSG disconnects, I've eliminated everything but the Checkpoint firewall. The problem is the firewall admin insists that there is nothing that should interefere, that all it is doing is scanning the packets and then passing them through. Sniffing the connection shows nothing but a series of attempted retransmits and then the session ends. Anyone have any thoughts?
