If a MetaFrame XP server's name needs to be changed but keep its existing
published application configurations, you need to perform the steps below:

In the Citrix Management Console (CMC), under the Citrix Administrators
node, right click Add Citrix Administrator.
Add the local administrators (check the Add Local Administrators box) with
read and write privileges.
Close the CMC when this change is completed.
On the Network Identification tab under System Properties, change the name
of the server.
Reboot the machine and open the CMC.
Go to the properties of each of the published applications specified for
that server. Under the Servers tab, highlight the old server name, and click
Remove.
When the old server name is removed from the Configured Server list, add the
new server name from the Available Servers list to the Configured Server
list.
Do the same for each of the published applications that is configured to run
on that server.
Go to the Server node. Right click the old server name and select Remove
Server from Farm.
Run the published applications from the new server name.

If you would run chfarm to change the farm name, you would create a new
farm? but that will not copy over all of your licenses pub apps, etc..
right?
