No, it does not.  It's SQL 7 based.

BTW, I am running MDAC 2.7 RTM on the new servers.

    If Epicor is still using Progress as the database, you might want
to 
check the Progress web site ( http://www.progress.com ) I think there
might 
be some registry tweaks for Progress/Metaframe on the site.
