Does Adobe create a file in the Winnt\system32\spool\printers directory before it prints? It has been a while since I had that problem, so I may be giving you the fix for a different problem. Please forgive me if that is the case. I gave all users permission on that folder (and that folder only), and our problem went away. Hope this helps. They don't seem terribly interested in fixing it. -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan Kadoo [mailto:jkadoo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 3:58 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Adobe pdf creation Yeah, I figured that one out the problem is that we run a reboot schedule every night and I don't want to have someone remember to log into the console every morning. I would like to understand why this is the case. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ryan Lambert Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 2:43 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Adobe pdf creation If I recall correctly, try logging Administrator into the console and then printing. -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan Kadoo [mailto:jkadoo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 3:52 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Adobe pdf creation Hey there everyone. I am trying to set up Adobe to create pdfs on my W2k M1.8 server. I keep getting an error message saying "unable to print to *.pdf all users documents folder do you want to cancel or retry?" Anyone seen this or have a resolution for it? I was searching on thin net and I found someone else run into this but I didn't find the resolution. I hope there is one. Thanks in advance Jonathan
