Does Adobe create a file in the Winnt\system32\spool\printers directory
before it prints? It has been a while since I had that problem, so I
may be giving you the fix for a different problem. Please forgive me if
that is the case.

I gave all users permission on that folder (and that folder only), and
our problem went away.

Hope this helps.

Jonathan,

All I could get from Adobe is "it's a known issue".

They don't seem terribly interested in fixing it.

Yeah, I figured that one out the problem is that we run a reboot
schedule every night and I don't want to have someone remember to log
into the console every morning. I would like to understand why this is
the case.

If I recall correctly, try logging Administrator into the console and
then printing.

Hey there everyone. I am trying to set up Adobe to create pdfs on my
W2k M1.8 server. I keep getting an error message saying
"unable to print to *.pdf all users documents folder do you want to
cancel or retry?" Anyone seen this or have a resolution for it? I was
searching on thin net and I found someone else run into this but I
didn't find the resolution. I hope there is one. Thanks in advance

Jonathan
