My problem happens even to Admins. That's why it's diffficult to

I'm having the same problem. Thus far I have found that if the user is a
"Power User" on the local machine that they can then open the pdf =
document
however this isn't what I want to do for security. In my situation, I am
using a published IE application for the thin client only, so they do =
not
have the option to open adobe first.
It seems as though the users don't have permissions to open an adobe =
doc, as
though they need to be the ones to install Acrobat and then they have
permissions.=20
Another oddity that I noticed is that the users once having opened the =
pdf
doc, and then being made a local user can then open up the Adobe docs, =
but
only the ones they opened when in the Power user mode.
I've checked the association and even tried given explicit permissions =
to the
user on the Acrobat file folder, but no luck.
Any other suggestions out there?

Association looks fine.
If I start Acrobat Reader first and then open the file from the File ->
Open
menu, then it works fine.
I hate Acrobat!

Check the associations for the pdf type?
Should be something along the lines of "M:\program files\adobe\acrobat
6.0\=3D3D
reader\acrord32.exe" "%1"
(hopefully the list wont screw that up too badly..!)

Hello, all.
I just installed Acrobat 6.0 reader on an NT 4 TSE, MetaFrame XP 1.0.
I
also have Acrobat 4.0 Full Product.
Now, when I try to open PDF files with the 6.0 Reader, I get the error:
Cannot find the file 'Name of the file' (or one of its components).
Make
sure the path and filename are correct and that all libraries are
available.
The file opens fine, but I cannot get rid of that annoying error. I've
used Regmon and Filemon, but I have not yet found the problem.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
