Thanks Malcolm. Do I have to delete current (Roaming) profiles and start again? -----Original Message----- From: BRUTON, Malcolm, FM [mailto:Malcolm.BRUTON@xxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 April 2005 11:33 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: A4/Paper Settings Paper size is set by the user Locale. Change the default locale on the server to say English (UK) and any new user will get created with correct paper size. (won't apply to existing users with roaming profiles) If you share your servers with US users you will have to do it another way. I would suggest a custom ADM to applied to say UK users to set the locale to English (UK) and use a policy to apply When your done with the ADM let me know as I need one !!! (just feeling lazy today) Malcolm _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nick Smith Sent: 13 April 2005 09:14 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] A4/Paper Settings There are a couple of postings about this from the archives, but they are four years old, so I wanted to confirm if things had changed since 2001. On one TS2003(Native) server, users logging on are getting Paper size on their autocreated printers. We want them to have A4. They can change it manually, but on each logon it reverts to Paper. What's my best way forward? I understand I can delete HKCU\printers\settings, but that will only reset the current user. Do I have to do so for each user? I was sort of expecting \DevModePerUser to be full of information, but it is almost completely blank. Any pointers? ************************************************************************ *********** The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Registered in Scotland No 90312.
