[The Teacher List] Gamestar Mechanic

List member, Shelley Wright, told me about Gamestar Mechanic. Her students are
using it in her tech class and love it! Once they get started, students (or
you) need to plan the game to unlock the toolkit and sprites, and then you can
create your own multi-level game. Shelley says that her students try to make
it difficult enough so that their friends can't beat it, which takes some skill
and planning. There is a lot of support for teachers, including curriculum and
other resources that allow for dabbling or entire courses to be built around
the resource.
