Holy
Why does even a new, clean, food vessel have to be put in a *mikvah*
(immersion) before it can be used by a Jew. One source says that it is just
like a kosher convert who, before he or she can become a Jew, has to
immerse in a kosher *mikvah*.
The Jewish life that follows the Torah is holy, our people and even
our vessels must be used in the service of Hashem.
