The Visit By Anita Tessasshon and Isabella Valentine After the meeting, Bella gave Shane a lingering kiss good-bye and whispered that she'd see him later. Their pre-meeting encounter still had her face flushed. It was so much fun to be with someone nearly as playful as her. She didn't exactly have anything planned, but she needed some time to calm down. Her head was spinning. On the spur of the moment, she decided to walk the ship and explore it. She hadn't given herself the grand tour of the Noir yet. Even though she knew the layout by heart, she still hadn't laid eyes on the whole thing. It wasn't long before she found herself wandering down on deck five, the security center. She poked her head in the security department's headquarters since it wasn't locked, and was surprised to see a prisoner in the brig. No one had said anything about a prisoner. Feeling nosy, Bella took a step inside the room. Anita's eyes peered up, and a smile formed as her cruel lips exposed her white teeth. Her hair fell forward, but she looked up, shifting her hair back. "Well, at least the Captain has their flunkies visit me. How thoughtful." She stayed seated on the bed, legs crossed. Bella's brow furrowed in curiosity and she stepped closer to the cell. "Nice rat," she said, with nose scrunched in disgust. Anita snickered lightly, "Yeah, I thought so too. Reminds me of the captain from time to time. But you know, that's my only source of entertainment for now." She shrugged and took a closer look at the woman before her. She was shorter, black hair, and looked dainty rather than delicate. "So, what do you want?" Bella shrugged. "Just out explorin' the ship." Gazing intently at the other woman was enough to make Bella feel as though she wanted to shiver. She resisted the urge. There wasn't anything about her that...looked wrong. She just felt it. Maybe it was the way her eyes lit up when she talked about the dead rat. "How do you like the view?" Anita grinned and got up from her bed as she took the dead rat's tail and studied it's fried body closely. "Hmm, amazing what a forcefield can do..." "Sure," Bella said, quite unsure as to why she was still standing there. Something about the woman was perversely mesmerizing. Anita gave a light laugh, "Sure what? Sure the view is nice? Or sure that the forcefield is amazing?" Before the woman could respond, Anita threw the dead rat against the field. It caused her visitor to jump a little, eyes a little wider, unsure what to think; and that made Anita laugh a little louder. "You're jumpy, too jumpy. Don't tell me I scare you." "You didn't scare me. You startled me. There's a difference." Bella's tone was nearly deadpan. "Liar," Anita gave another shrug, sitting back down on the bed as she crossed her legs. "Suit yourself," Bella shrugged and turned to walk out of the room. Anita moved her head, following the woman's path to the exit, "Something wrong, dear? Don't you like the warm welcoming I just gave you?" Bella turned around, not sure if she wanted to play the game, but she was curious. "So, tell me," she smiled, "did you go insane because they locked you up or did they lock you up because you're insane?" Anita grinned, "That's for me to know, and you to find out. And 'insane' is such a harsh word, why..." Anita pressed her hands together, sliding them back and forth, rubbing them, "I prefer 'different'." "Mm-hmm," Bella said. "Well, have fun." She turned to leave. A sudden laugh came out of her throat, she just couldn't help it. "I'm insulted, seems you don't like playing very much." "Actually, I haven't heard anything interesting enough to interrupt my tour yet, is all," Bella said. "Whoever said about hearing anything? I said playing. Or don't you listen?" Anita rolled her eyes as she decided to lay back down, "But you go ahead, dear. Explore this fascinating ship we're all on. Do let me know if you find another rat. I'll be sure to think of you." "Playing? And just what game you have in mind...dear?," she asked. She readjusted her head to look at her visitor, "Depends, I was playing with you just now. But if you have something else in mind... Besides, being couped up in here- not very entertaining." "I can imagine," Bella drawled sarcastically and crossed her arms over her chest, still not sure why she was there at all. Anita pushed up from the bed, already bored with this. The woman- as far as Anita was concerned- was not as much fun as the captain was. "Can you? Well, at least there is some thing in that little head of yours. Tell me, do you like playing only when you have the upper hand? Cause frankly, whether you leave or not is no matter to me, especially when you were about to leave right in the middle of our little game." Anita supported her chin with her hand as she looked at her visitor curiously. "I'm glad you've found some sort of amusement here, because frankly, I'm bored. Staring at a pathetic half naked woman behind a forcefield doesn't exactly get me off." "'Pathetic half naked woman', please. That the best you can do? Of course it is, judging me by my looks, typical." Anita rolled her eyes, "This is nothing more than to get what I need without having to fuck a guy for their money. It does pass the time you know? Space is so boring when all you have is the same old thing, everyday... everyday. All I do is add some... risk in it." She got up, getting as close to the edge of the cell without hitting the protective field. "So what's your name? Or are we not at the introductionary level yet?" Bella didn't see any harm in it. "Isabella. And you?" "Anita." "There. Introduction complete, dear. Wanna play checkers?" Bella laughed a replica of Anita's laugh. "Anything you want. Dear. Though if I win, you won't like what I would like to do. So unless you wanna play with a little twist, don't make offers you can't fulfill." Anita waited for a response but there was none as Isabella looked at her. "So you wanna play?" she continued. "I'm afraid forcefields limit my mobility." Anita looked up and then down as if she could see the fine sheet of energy keeping her in. Her finger trailed around the field as it blazed and crackled upon contact. "And such a pity," Bella said, quite thankful for small favors, as she walked out the door. "That is one fuckin' trip to insanity, I do not wanna take," she muttered on her way down the hall. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Read only the mail you want - Yahoo!
