Welcome to The Big Jewel, America's new national pastime. Baseball used to
be America's national pastime, but that was before Barry "What, Me Dope?"
Bonds got involved. David Litt, the outgoing editor of The Yale Record
humor magazine, has put on his iambic pentameter hat to bring us the sad,
sad news in tragic bard mode:

The steroid case seemed airtight 'gainst the Giants' aging baller,
His head had swollen up in size, his testes had grown smaller.
But fans still came to watch him play, although his past was checkered,
For Barry, mighty Barry, might soon break the home run record...
